Middle Collegiate Church of New York Post Fire Stabilization
A fire broke out in an empty building eventually spread to a 128-year-old church, home to the New York Liberty Bell. The fire destroyed the church's Gothic-style sanctuary and blew out the Tiffany stained-glass windows that adorned it. However, the Liberty Bell survived and remained intact.
Owner's Representative Services were provided, including coordinating the stabilization of the remaining structure after the fire with the DOB, managing the client fire insurance claim process, analyzing the zoning and program requirements for future rebuild, leading the search for possible new real estate sites, providing square foot budget cost analysis, and organizing the salvaging and relocation of the NY Liberty Bell to the New York Historical Society.
