GSA Hato Rey, Federico Degetau Federal Building and Clement Ruiz Nazario U.S. Courthouse
An ARRA-funded Energy modernization project designed for a LEED Gold rating of an existing Brutalist/Federal Modernist buildings in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The renovation included a building-wide interior finish upgrade, exterior facade preservation, a federal lobby redesign and addition, a US Courtrooms interior redesign, and a complete replacement of the building MEP infrastructure for the two-building complex. Work to impact 11 federal agencies and a US federal courthouse, resulting in a coordinated four-phase construction plan with tenant swing space moves.
